1 hr · Over the next few weeks, I’ll be introducing you to our new students. This is Vilvert Eliakim. He is originally from Port-Margot (a town a couple hours out into the country) but ended up in Cap-Haitien after his sister fell ill and required long-term care. For him, coming to Bible college was the fulfillment of a word he received 8 years ago.
“I received a call to ministry in 2012. An evangelist laid his hands on me and prayed over me. I didn’t think much of it. I was studying agronomy. But God started using me. I prayed for some people who were sick and they were healed. I prayed for demon-possessed people and they were delivered. I was asked to preach in church and people received it well. Finally, I decided to go to seminary. I was going to go to somewhere else, but at the last minute, my pastor suggested I come here. I’m open to doing whatever God wants me to do.”
