Dana and Janet Jackson (President of Women’s Aglow Chapter in Mt. Olive, NC)
On Monday night, I spoke at the Women’s Aglow Chapter in Mt. Olive, NC. This is always a special time for us. These seasoned prayer warriors always minister more to us than we minister to them. We did a brief study of Nehemiah Chapter 1 together. Nehemiah was faced with an impossible task, much like the one we are facing today. Haiti is a ”Nehemiah’s Wall!”
In order to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem, these former slaves returning from Babylon had to remove all the rubbish which had accumulated from 70 years of neglect. (The first thing our teams always notice after picking them up at the airport in Cap-Haitian, is the mounds of trash that line the highways and the oceanside.) Secondly, all the piles of rubble from Nebuchadnezzar’s merciless assault on Jerusalem filled the landscape and also had to be taken away. The rubbish and the rubble had been lying there for years. Only then did the actual rebuilding phase begin. Dealing with inner turmoil between those who were supposed to be united in this great task as well as dealing with enemies in plain sight (who wanted nothing more than to see the demise of the Israelites), it would take a supernatural work to get this wall rebuilt. God worked in incredible ways by granting Nehemiah an earthly king’s favor. Ahaseurus provided the royal permission for Nehemiah to return to his homeland and the Lord provided this leader with the capacity to unite His people to work with one mind in harmony. The wall was built in a mere 56 days — an impossibility by human standards! I then asked this precious little group to pray for us — that he would give us supernatural strength and favor to do a work that mere man cannot do. Haiti is in great need of your prayers as well. THERE IS SO MUCH RUBBISH AND SO MUCH RUBBLE.
Rehoboth Ministries is training up many echelons of leaders from our preschoolers to our elementary students, our high schoolers unto the students training in our Leadership Institute. We are working on Haiti’s tomorrow TODAY. Will you help us?

Another thought⦠I just read an email from Carter Conlon/Times Square Church in which is given the opportunity to read limited content OR to “click here to read more.â That allows the sender to measure the clickers and also the difference between emails sent and clicks. Does this make sense?
