This has been a week of scurrying about getting everything done from bank transfers to Haiti to getting our car inspected. We are still in awe of how easily and quickly things are done here. Just the usual life in the good ‘ole USA is a far cry from life on the mission field. Prit gets excited about going to Walmart. That’ll give you an idea of how mundane life can be in our little corner of Haiti! But, we have been at the other end of anything but mundane, especially after being kidnapped by a gang in October 2006. We can certainly relate to the story that you are about to watch about this team of medical missionaries who came to help bring relief to the south of Haiti. Would you pray that John will be able to leave without delays and make it into Jacksonville on June 3rd where we will be eagerly waiting to pick him up? Pray that things remain quiet in Cap Haitian and that he will be able to get out without problems in the street. Haiti is at a very volatile place right now. Cap Haitian is much calmer than the area around Port-au-Prince, but tensions are still high because of the instability in this little country. John’s had an incredibly busy year and is truly due for a break. Thank you for your prayers!
