Prayer Answered!
Thanks so much to all of you who prayed for us concerning making a transfer to Haiti. This problem has been resolved and we were able to get much-needed salaries for everything from our Pastors and workers to the Bible school professors down to Haiti. In fact, Prit is in the process of making another transfer. Seems the money goes out as quickly as it comes in!
Fayetteville, NC
We just returned from spending the weekend in Fayetteville, NC. These are our old stomping grounds. We were so happy to see and thank fellow supporters of Rehoboth who give continually into this work. Our hearts are overflowing after visiting with so many wonderful friends. Saturday morning, we shared at the Full Gospel Businessmen’s meeting. One couple even brought a Haitian man with them and we had a lot of fun conversing with him in Creole. Louis moved to the U.S. around 22 years ago and was only too happy to speak to someone in his native language. He’s serving God here while we’re serving God in Haiti. We attended Northwood Temple (one of our supporting churches) and saw many friends there as well. Thanks so much to Mike and Maggie Andrews for receiving us into their home. Fayetteville will always be home to us in one sense or another.
Would you like to help?
We know many of you give regularly on a monthly basis. Boy, are we thankful for you! However, this is a time of the year when things are tighter for us financially.
1) Our university students are having to pay inscription for another year of work. Even though school doesn’t start until September, they are expected to pay now. Tedson, Clodain, and Claudel’s bills for the first semester add up to around $800 US apiece which totals to $2,400 US. This, as you can imagine, stretches us and doesn’t even include their gas and food needs. Due to the ever-increasing prices of food, fuel, and yes, even their school tuition, our budget gets stretched more than ever.
2) We are back in Jacksonville, but our American Airlines bill still remains. We have around $1,100 left in order to pay this off.
If you would like to help lighten our load, you can give to through the link below. If you send your contribution c/o The Lord’s Table through PushPay or by check, you will always receive a tax-deductible receipt. Thanks!
