These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens…

Anyone who’s watched The Sound of Music  will recognize the first line to the famous song, “My Favorite Things.” This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Just thought I’d list a few of the favorite things we’ve been blessed with lately.

Dana and Madame Joseph

Sunday morning, my friend,  Madame Joseph brought me some more coffee. She often does, in spite of her poverty.  I had to get a picture with her this time. Isn’t she beautiful?

When I complimented her necklace, my friend, Janice took it off and gifted it to me. It’s almost as beautiful as she is.

  1. Little Sam is so ADORABLE! What are you and Prit doing for Christmas Dana. Will you have any guests from US there or are you going back to US? We are well and seeking God for our next year ; maybe a trip back to Haiti might be in the works! Speaking of grandkids, our Katie (8) did over 1000 cartwheels trying to break the world record and our Seth (7) did 1000 skipping rope before he said his legs felt a little tired!! Dec 30 we fly to Winnipeg for extended Christmas with Ryan, Jodi and the boys so we are looking forward to that. Much love to you both and to John! Your friends, Richard and Beth

  2. Thank you, Beth. We think so too & miss watching him grow up. We will be here for Christmas. We don’t have any guests until Jan. 7th & 8th when our two MFI leaders (Steve Stells & John Finochio) will come for our annual MFI Leader’s Conference. I love hearing about your grandkids. They’re the spice of life. You guys are always welcome here. Have a very blessed Christmas with your loved ones.
