We have some exciting news! The 700 Club will be airing a special segment on ministries in Haiti on Monday, 23 November. The Christian Broadcasting Network has been actively working in Haiti through organizations which serve under the umbrella of CBN such as Orphans Promise, Operation Blessing and others.
We are proud to say that Rehoboth Ministries has had the privilege of working with Orphans Promise through our feeding program, plus through the building of a our new kitchen in Petite-Anse. Our ministry was the first of many to be filmed. You don’t want to miss it! You can find the story at http://www1.cbn.com/700club
Next Monday is also Prit’s 60th birthday. So, birthday greetings are more than welcome!
Roberta Edwards
I shared a very sad story not too long ago concerning a missionary named Roberta Edwards. Roberta was a missionary overseeing an orphanage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, for over twenty years. She was shot and killed several weeks ago. I mentioned in the post that a four-year-old boy was abducted from her car immediately after they killed Roberta. Since there was no contact from the abductors afterwards concerning a ransom, everyone feared that he may have been killed as well. We asked, you, our readers, to pray for the child’s safe return to the orphanage. We received word last week that the child has been found unharmed and two suspects are in custody. Thank you for your prayers! Click here if you missed the story. https://rehobothhaiti.com/2015/10/15/prayers-for/
Also included is a link concerning four year old “Jo Jo.” http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/11/10/haitian-boy-kidnapped-in-killing-american-missionary-found-church-says/
Hi Dana, Prit; Happy Birthday, again, Prit. Said a prayer for you today and appreciate the amazing testimony you and Dana present.
We also looked for the Haiti story on 700 club but didn’t see it. Did it air as scheduled? Would it also be on their web site in some sort of archive?
Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!
