This summer has been super busy. Hence, the reason I’m just getting around to updating. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed visiting with donors and churches to share about the work in Haiti. If we didn’t get to see you, we always carry you in our hearts and thank you from afar. We are beginning to shift gears and wind down here. We’ll be attending the MFI Conference in Portland, OR, the first week of October, then visiting two supporting churches on the West Coast. Around mid-October, we will return to Haiti and we’ll hit the ground running.

This upcoming year seems to be taking a life of its own. We have conferences lined up, a ministry retreat for our key leaders, plus teams making plans to come help with construction projects. Then, there is the daily work of Rehoboth Ministries. There is a good possibility that I (Dana) will have my own personal intern coming for the month of January. Please pray she’ll be able to raise the money to come. If anyone is still interested in the intern position, there are other months available where I could definitely use your help.

We need prayer for the following items:

Fuel crisis: There is no fuel being sold at present. Our supply is dwindling and we need a breakthrough.

John: Pray for John’s safety in the midst of a very troubled society. Pray for strength, encouragement, and wisdom to oversee things for the work until we return. 

Intern: continued prayer for a helper(s) to come give us a hand

Construction: We need to be able to add rooms on our compound to receive conference speakers, teams, etc.

Instruments: We have $1,000 to put towards instruments for our main church. We still need help with the purchase of drums, a piano, and a guitar amp.

Renter: We need a renter for our home here in Jacksonville while we’re in Haiti (during the school year). We would love a reference from someone reputable.
