It seems, though this is our vacation, the work for Rehoboth never ends. Every time we finish a task, THREE more appear in its place! I am putting this out there again for anyone who desires to come to Haiti and lend a hand to our ministry.  We need an intern who is willing to help out with secretarial work, can meander their way through wordpress.com, and a myriad of other things. If you can serve 1-2 months, we will take care of your housing as well as your food. You will also have the opportunity to see the wonderful things that are taking place at our mission, plus visit some beautiful sites while you’re there. If this sounds like you, give me (Dana) a call or send me an e-mail. Hurricane Dorian

It looks like we’ve dodged another bullet concerning a hurricane hitting Haiti. Hurricane Dorian is headed towards Florida and we ask your prayers for everyone who may be in its path. Even better, we ask that you pray that it will turn from its path and dissipate into the sea.

Prayer

Our schools and Bible institute will reopen on September 9. Our university students have already started back. We ask your prayers for the parents of the kids who are scurrying about and wondering how they’re going to pay for backpacks, uniforms, books, and tuition. Would you also consider helping with a gift? No gift is too small and you can make a beautiful Haitian child’s eyes shine even brighter! Use the info. for giving and add a memo: Haiti/Schoolkid.
