Hello from NC. We are back in Jacksonville and I finally have time to put the finishing touches on this update. Yesterday, I wrote this post since there’s not a whole lot you can do in a car for 6+ hours. We have been very busy and August is almost over. Below, I will post where we will be speaking before we fly out at the end of September. We’d love to see you if we haven’t already! There are a couple of Sundays still available as well as options for mid-week services.
September 1: Joy Assembly of God (Southport, NC)
September 8: Northwood Temple (Fayetteville, NC)
We will be sharing in each of the two services at Northwood Temple. The times are 8:30 and 10:50
There are only two other Sundays left on the calendar until we fly to Portland, OR, for the annual MFI Conference. We will not return to NC, but will fly into Haiti after leaving the West Coast.
Tuesday, September 26 (Update)
Pastor Ikem and his beautiful wife, Salome
We are barreling down I-95 and heading home! We’ve just left Woodbridge, Virginia, where we spent the weekend with Pastor Ikem Akaeze and his family. We ministered in their church yesterday at the Jesus Without Borders church. Pastor Ikem is from Nigeria and his wife is from Sierra Leon. They immigrated to the US five years ago. We had a wonderful time meeting folks from Nigeria, Sierra Leon, Ghana and other West African nations. Americans born within the United States attend as well. We loved their worship, as it greatly resembles that of the Haitian people.
