Many, many thanks to Trinity Church in Tacoma, Washington, for their generous missions gift to Rehoboth Ministries. It was perfect timing! John’s fridge stopped working and after many unsuccessful attempts to revive it, we had to purchase a new one. We were also able to purchase a little Honda generator for our church in Belle-Hotesse. Those folks have been sitting in the dark way too long! Lastly, the guest house now has a new sidewalk. This sure makes things easier for John to get back and forth — especially on crutches! We are so very grateful for your thoughtfulness.
Speaking of crutches, John’s cast (hopefully) will come off this Friday provided his ankle has fully healed. You can only guess how happy he will be to walk on both feet again. Gabe’s operation on his finger was a success and he’s doing great. Gabe turned 32 on April 4th and our grandson, Sam, turned 5 on Sunday (7 April) . We sure miss celebrating these dates with our family members!
And speaking of family, it looks like Prit and I will be returning stateside in mid-May instead of at the end of May. We are aching to see our loved ones. Our renter moved out early, plus our house is empty . We also look forward to seeing our supporters and friends. If you want us to come visit your church or group, please let us know because the summer schedule is filling up fast. We’d love to come and say thank you for your giving or have the opportunity to share about Rehoboth if you’re someone new. I will post our updated schedule in the next post.
