Ebenezer, Chikungunya, and a Change of Address

On June 13, Prit and I celebrated thirty-three years of marriage together. We want to thank all of you for your wonderful notes and cards. Your well wishes have greatly encouraged us, as well as your thoughts and prayers! God has been our Ebenezer.

Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.”
1 Samuel 7:12

We ask for your continued prayers for our leaders and church people in Haiti. Many of our pastors, teachers, and students have been home sick with the Chikungunya virus. Our hearts go out to them in their suffering. Pray for those who already have a depleted immune system due to overwork and inadequate diets.

We would like to notify all those sending cards, letters, and support checks to our ministry of a change of address. All mail can be sent to the following address:

  1. Congratulations you two!! We just got back from a week on Oregon coast for a bit of holiday. This has been very stressful year of transition for us as we figure out our new ” psychological rhythms” of life and ministry. The best thing about not being in charge anymore is not being in charge anymore ( as in having to deal with all the day- to- day frustrations of people and finances etc.) AND the worst thing about not being in charge anymore is not being in charge anymore. We’re very used to driving the bus and we’re not anymore. Very hard for us, especially Richard.

Thought you might enjoy this blog of Corey’s…you are loved!!
