John Maxwell said, “Everything rises and falls upon leadership.” Never could a saying be more true! We have been detained stateside much longer this year due to my illness than we had planned to be. With all my follow-up treatments, the Pandemic, and other obstacles, Prit has been by my side to run me back and forth to doctors’ appointments, scans, lab tests, x-rays, chemo…..you name it! He has been there for me and I am eternally grateful.

How does Rehoboth keep running in spite of our prolonged absence? Our success depends on the faithfulness of our donors, as well as 38 years’ worth of investing in leadership training. Our leaders are “home grown” and have been “holding the fort” in Haiti all this time. They know their jobs and they get them done whether we are there or not. Without them, we could never get anything accomplished.

Here’s a salute to the faithful committee of our main church in Petite-Anse who has worked so faithfully, whether we are present or absent! They are the unsung heroes, many of whom you may never meet, but who love us and love this ministry.
