I received great news this morning upon my return visit to the Radiology Department. My next appointment is not until May 2022! I am so thankful for the boost in my energy level and for the many prayers which have been offered up for me. I still have to work on rebuilding my strength and pacing myself, however. Sometimes, I feel so good that I overdo it, then I end up in the bed for the remainder of the day. But, in comparison to this past October when I had surgery, I have ZERO complaints.

I was delighted when the nurse told me that it looks like a great deal ot the chemotherapy has left my body. “When your nails begin to get strong again and your hair starts to grow back, that’s a good sign!”, she said. My hair is growing (I would tend to call it fuzz at this point), but sometimes it’s the little things that gives one the most joy.

This is not the end of the doctor visits, however. I return to my oncologist in a few weeks to get labwork done and a briefing on the results of all my treatment. I would be so grateful for your continued prayers for a good report.
