I woke up from a dream this morning. In my dream I had a baby girl. I knew it was prophetic, for I don’t believe at age 63 I’ll be having any more children. This baby gave me such incredible joy. She had the most infectious laugh and it made me laugh too. She never cried, but laughed throughout the whole dream. I believe that as the world is gripped by fear, this dream was meant to breathe hope and joy into my life and to others as well. Even those who have experienced deep sorrow and loss can recapture the unspeakable joy that only the Lord can give.
Today, as you sit in your home and wonder how many more people will be ravaged or even die from this pandemic, I pray for you. I pray that in the midst of your distress, you will look up and experience the new. Maybe it’s new ideas of how to do things, a new way of looking at things, a new joy, and new expectations. It’s a new normal, but God is always doing something fresh and is not limited by the stale and the mundane.
I encourage you to embrace the NEW. Perhaps it’s just a new level to your prayer life He wants to birth into your spirit to drown out the voices which are occupying your time and feeding your fear. This can be an exciting phase in your life. Our churches in Haiti were not able to gather and pray this morning, but that will not inhibit the prayers and power that will be unleashed from their homes. On the contrary, this may be a good break to recapture a new regard for united prayer. He’s doing a new thing. Do you not perceive it?

Really good word Dana! We have been perceiving that too- certainly here where people usually have so much to distract them from spiritual things, that is all stripped away. We had many more people in our online groups last week than we ever have had. But things are pretty crazy too- we have one first time mom whose baby is in the wrong position and instead of waiting for it to turn)not due for 3 weeks) they’re doing c-section in 1 week and telling the young mom her parents can’t come to see the baby! People need revelation of healing big time so we’re getting the word out. Stay well- we love you💞
