Introducing John Adams

Hey, everyone! I’m John Adams, Pritchard and Dana’s son. I’m writing to let you know that I am coming on board to work for Rehoboth Ministries. I will be living and working in the U.S., but my primary responsibilities will involve tracking finances, raising support, and communicating with leaders in Haiti and donors elsewhere. Beginning in September, I will be available to speak at supporting churches.

Many of you already know me. For those who don’t, please allow me a brief introduction. I was born and raised in Haiti. I was there from the day my Dad planted his first church in 1990 and sat on the family pew until 2003, when I went to Portland Bible College. After a decade in the United States, I returned to Haiti in 2013 and taught theology at the Bible college my Dad helped found until 2022. Due to the deteriorating security situation in Haiti, I moved back to the U.S. that year. For the last couple of years, I have been living in North Carolina and working at a public school. This year, I will be moving over to Rehoboth to help my Mom carry the burden she has been carrying for years.

Currently, Rehoboth is in a time of transition. We are moving from a first-generation model of missionary administration and support to a second-generation model of self-sufficiency and replication. Part of my responsibility at Rehoboth will be to help execute that transition. Transitions are never easy anywhere, but Haiti poses special challenges that will require much wisdom. Thanks to you all of you who are reading this for your support and encouragement. I ask that you would keep me in your prayers as I begin to do this work.

Great news! Thanks for the update, John. Our church will continue to pray for and support Rehoboth. May God bless your work as you transition to a “second generation model.”

Great to hear John and I know that you will play a huge part in ensuring the ongoing mission to reach Haiti for Jesus, support the existing churches and train leaders.

Blessings and we will be looking at how we can come alongside to support you both in prayers and financially.

Your new position is an answer to many prayers and I know God hand was all over this. Haiti is such a special country and the footprints and ground work your parents started there many years ago will always remain the foundation, but I am excited to see what comes next. I know you will be of great help to Dana and if you need anything I am here to help always!

    Dear Dana Adams!

My name is Ellen Suess from Germany.
God sent me to the Caribbean islands to teach about Israel and His Father’s love for the people of the Caribbean islands.

A few weeks ago I met Linda and Mike Huppmann in Sosua, DR, where I shared in their church. They told me about your ministry in Cap Haitien.

I’m here now and would love to connect with you soon.

    Have a blessed day!

    Ellen
