So many of you have written and called. I wish I could answer all of you, but time and energy does not allow it. I was told my surgery would be this week. I have not heard from anyone and even left a message with the doctor. I will be meeting with an oncologist here in Jacksonville about radiation and chemotherapy treatment post-surgery. I never dreamed it would take this long.
Meanwhile, there is much busy work with the ministry as well as in other areas that I’ve been working on. Not knowing how I will feel after the operation, I am using this time to get things caught up. Also, we just spent wonderful three days with our daughter, Deb, and our two beautiful grandchildren, Sam and Lorelei. My cup is full! 🙂
Please continue to remember me in your prayers. Many thanks to those of you who have given financially to help us during this time. Thank you to the Enon Ladies’ Sewing Group who gifted me with a beautiful quilt today! Your thoughtfulness means so much to me.
On another note, we are doing a fundraiser for our Bible institute. This will help cover professors’ salaries for the next year and scholarships for Bible school students. We are excited about our ”leaders in the making” and, in spite of many delays in having classes due to rioting in the country of Haiti and then the effects of the Pandemic, these students have pushed forward in their studies.
